The first thing to look at in our walkthrough is the layout of Deadfellas, including important locations.

Deadfellas Walkthrough - Severe Game Glitches

The following screenshots show the locations where two assignment stopping game glitches occur in the Ghost Master assignment Deadfellas. In creating this walkthrough we have found the only solution is to restart your computer, Ghost Master, then retry the assignment Deadfellas.

Also note that often Rattle Chains in the room with Fingers tends to send everyone to the room Wavemaster is/was in. These glitches slow or stop the Deadfellas Ghost Master assignment.

A. Permanent traffic jams are frequent on these stairs on this level and the one below.

B. Pump activated, cut scene played, Wavemaster is often not set free

Knuckles is the first haunter free

We'll start the Deadfellas walkthrough by freeing Knuckles. Simply bind Lucky to the roulette wheel, have him use his Luckstorm power, and then bench Lucky.

If you don't cause a ruckus on the ship yet, it will only be a few minutes before someone plays and wins.

Wavemaster is the next one you need to start freeing

Continue the Deadfellas walkthrough by going to the belly of the ship. Bind Boo next to Wavemaster and use Rattle Chains only. When someone comes down, use Leak only.

They will then activate the pump and free Wavemaster.

Start to scare the Don only.

Flash Jordon is the next

The next step of the Deadfellas walkthrough is to free Flash Jordon. This is accomplished by simply having Wavemaster use her Hailstones power.

All you need now is to have a mortal enter the room.

And now for Fingers

The last step of the Deadfellas walkthrough is to free Fingers. You have to get the cook into this room. The best way we have found is to scare him half way up the scare meter.

Deadfellas Walkthrough - Wrap-Up

We wrap up our Deadfellas walkthrough with the following warning. Do not scare away the Don until Fingers is free. But because of time you may need to have the Don jump ship while you are still working on Fingers. This does seem to help.

What you really need to do in Deadfellas is free Lucky & Wavemaster before starting to scare the Don. Then hit the Don hard, keeping him on the map until Fingers is free.
